Manufacturing
ALITER-AXI has its own chemical engineering plant. The total area of the plant is 15837 m2; workforce comprises 197 employees. The plant has a vast experience in manufacturing of various equipment for refineries and chemical plants, namely: heaters (furnaces), pressure vessels and apparatus, coils, refractory products (burner tiles), various internal devices, process pipelines and nonstandard products.
Most of the manufactured equipment is delivered already lined with refractory, which simplifies its erection. Furthermore, a factory-installed lining has higher quality and a longer service life than a lining installed on site.
The chemical engineering plant has a large amount of machinery and welding equipment, as well as equipment for lining. It consists of the following workshops:
- Premachining Shop;
- Turn-Milling Shop;
- Steel Structures Welding and Assembly Shop (Machine-Assembly Shop);
- Coil Production Shop;
- Heat Treatment Shop;
- Moulding Shop (lining works);
- Painting and Sandblasting Shop;
- Dry Refractory Mixes Production Shop.
The plant includes the following engineering services: Detailed Design and As-built Documentation Department, Non-Destructive Testing Laboratory, Mechanical Testing Laboratory, Refractory Laboratory, etc.
Each service has all the certificates and licenses necessary for manufacturing of the entire range of products produced by ALITER-AXI.
Production facilities and engineering services provide the full cycle of product manufacturing from purchasing of steel to item fabrication, painting and shipment to the customer. Production control is carried out by technical inspection services. The plant is equipped for conducting various tests, such as: hydrostatic and pneumatic tests, mechanical tests, radiographic and ultrasonic tests of weld joints, PMI test, and hardness measurement. All the testing equipment is certified in due course.
Engineering and manufacturing are carried out both according to the Russian standards, and according to the standards of the international regulatory framework.
